5 Hand-Picked Plus Size Workout Outfits
TLDR: Plus size fitness is something I’m very passionate about. The world around us works overtime to make people that are larger than a size 6 feel inferior and I’m not about that. I have a whole Instagram account dedicated to reversing that way of thinking. So, check out this list for some plus size workout outfits — picked by yours truly — for all my curvy friends!
O-M-GOSH! Does anyone remember the first time they went to a spin, boxing, or HIIT class or just walked into a gym? I do. I remember the first time I went to SoulCycle in 2017. I was instantly in love with spin classes especially to the tune of my favorite music. However, there came a point in the class where I looked around and saw that every skinny lady in there was stripped down to their sports bras, which conveniently matched their leggings. I had not gotten the memo. Being the aspiring fashionista that I am, I quickly came to the realization that my workout attire needed and upgrade. However, being a plus size girlie* made that harder than one might expect (I’ll spare you the details of my very short trip to Lululemon). BUT THEN I found the matching sets section on the Fabletics website and my LIFE WAS CHANGED. I found cute clothes that made me not only feel super cute but made me want to workout more so I could show them off.
*The average American woman is a size 14 but we’ll talk about that another time
